Quinta do Tamariz is located in Barcelos, in the heart of the Vinho Verde Region and is operated by Sociedade Agrícola da Quinta de Santa Maria SA.

It is the combination of love for the land with the fruit of hard work and wine innovation that Quinta do Tamariz remains in the same family, today run by the 4th generation.

The laurel variety has been the king of the farm since the 1980s, when the vineyards were restructured and later the arinto and alvarinho varieties were planted.

Quinta do Tamariz was the first producer to place a wine exclusively from the Loureiro variety on the market. It was Quinta do Tamariz Loureiro 1986.
