Proibido Grande Reserva Red 2020

Proibido Grande Reserva Tinto 2020 comes from old vines between 40 and 80 years old, from Vila Nova de Foz Côa. Small plots facing north or east between 250m and 500m above sea level. Practically all the work is done by hand, without the use of herbicides or pesticides. When necessary, we plough the land with the help of a work horse. In this way, we respect what the vineyard gives us, and we try to transform the grapes into wine as naturally as possible.

This wine presents a very marked black fruit on the nose with great intensity, toasted notes and spices. A balanced wine on the palate, full-bodied, with well-polished tannins and a persistent finish.

It can be consumed immediately or within the next 15 years, as long as it is stored lying down in a cool, dry place, away from light and without temperature fluctuations.
