House of the Captain-Major About Lias Branco 2020

The Casa do Capitão-Mor Alvarinho Sobre Lias Branco 2020 is an interpretation of the Alvarinho grape variety that clashes with the idea of ​​a young, very fresh and fruity wine. It was partially aged in barrels and rested for two years on the fine lees resulting from alcoholic fermentation (the so-called “lias”), rich in yeasts that, over time, release complex carbohydrates that add fat to the wine.

This entire process resulted in a broad, structured and rich Alvarinho, with good, very ripe fruit and just the right amount of acidity.
