António Madeira Old Vines Red 2018

António Madeira Vinhas Velhas Red 2018 is a wine that expresses the character and elegance of the land where it was born. It takes us on a journey through time to discover the aromas and flavours of the foothills of Serra da Estrela, in Dão, just as it was in the time of our grandparents.

The winemaking philosophy is focused on seeking the expression of the terroir. As such, no oenological product other than sulphur was used.

Pure, complex nose, granite wrapped in stone fruit, peach, cherry, plum, sensations of aromatic herbs, flowers and pine forest. Great balance and freshness in a fluid, crystalline, very pure and tasty mouthfeel. Fine, soft tannins. Very long mineral finish.

This flagship wine illustrates the house's philosophy well. A gastronomic wine, for the table, of which you always want another glass.
