Esmero Red 2016

Esmero Tinto 2016 is a wine made from a blend of grape varieties, predominantly Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz, but also Tinta Amarela, Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Fêmea, Touriga Nacional, from a very old vineyard. The harvest was carried out in mid-September with manual picking in 20 kg boxes, sorting on a sorting mat, crushing by foot treading, maceration/fermentation in a wine press for 7 days.

It has a floral aroma, red fruits and chocolate, complex but with a strong personality. In the mouth it presents well-integrated wood, with robust tannins that are already relatively polished but still vigorous and with a very persistent finish.
