Chalk Vineyard of the Knights 2018

Originating in Bairrada, between the foothills of the Buçaco Mountains and the sea, Giz Vinha das Cavaleiras 2018 is a wine that uniquely expresses the characteristics of the limestone soils from which it comes. Originating from centuries-old vines, made from the Baga grape variety planted in poor, stony soils, the raw material here is scarce but extremely precious. Produced in total commitment to nature, intervention in the natural process is minimal, both in the vineyard and in the winery.

It presents well-defined and delicate aromas of ripe red fruit, blueberry and light floral notes. Forest floor, vanilla, spice and liquorice add aromatic complexity. In the end we obtain a wine without masks, authentic, structured, elegant and complex, full of individuality and character. A Grande Baga full of Class.
