The Lés-a-Lés project was born from the determination of winemaker Jorge Rosa Santos to rescue ancient grape varieties and wine styles that were practically extinct in Portugal.
Lés-a-Lés L'Immigrant Sauvignon Blanc 2017 reveals a charming complexity on the nose, with subtle tropical nuances, notes of asparagus, a distinct mineral character and a remarkable saline freshness. This freshness is amply confirmed on the palate, with a marked presence of salinity and the typical freshness of the variety. The use of the barrel is remarkably balanced, lending only volume and a slight unctuousness to the sensorial experience.
