Monte Branco Tinto 2018 is the top of the range from Adega do Monte Branco. Produced only in exceptional years, it represents the best of two plots: Alicante Bouschet on schist soils and Aragonez on limestone soils.
This is an austere, mysterious and profound wine for ageing. It is garnet in colour, highly concentrated and has great aromatic complexity. It is full-bodied and deep on the palate, with good structure and acidity, which prolongs the finish. A firm wine full of character, with good ageing potential.
