He left behind his career as a veterinarian to dedicate himself to winemaking on an itinerant basis, between regions of Portugal and Nueva Zelanda. In the region of Vinhos Verdes, where he grew up, he opted for an approach that believes he has potential, basing the vinification on techniques rarely used in these varieties, planted in the Ave valley. Vineyards with certain characteristics were selected, which he considered suitable for this type of wine, considering fermentation and creation with very rational use of barrels, as well as the respective work/stage on the barrels.
